{"id":304,"date":"2014-10-22T16:00:18","date_gmt":"2014-10-22T16:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sjcmeess.wpengine.com\/?p=304"},"modified":"2014-10-22T16:00:18","modified_gmt":"2014-10-22T16:00:18","slug":"adventures-on-bagheera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sjcme.edu\/ess\/adventures-on-bagheera\/","title":{"rendered":"Adventures on Bagheera"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I step foot onto <a href=\"http:\/\/www.portlandschooner.com\/portland_only_historic_windjammers_bagheera.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Bagheera<\/a>, immediately the theme song of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean_(film_series)\" target=\"_blank\">Pirates of the Caribbean<\/a> starts to play in my head.\u00a0 It is hard for the song not to because being on a schooner is such a grand adventure.\u00a0 As we travel through the water, I feel the wind against my face.\u00a0 As the ship is heeling between 10\u00b0 and 20\u00b0, moving across the ship is always an invigorating challenge.
