SAINT JOSEPH’S COLLEGE IS GOING

gg2

We’re excited to announce that Saint Joseph’s College will soon move its email and calendar platform from Microsoft Outlook to Gmail and Google Apps. With Google Apps, we’ll gain the benefits of a robust and innovative feature set, the ability to access email and calendar services from any Internet-connected device, much more storage capacity, and lower infrastructure and support costs.  Additionally, Google Apps for Education is a powerful collaboration platform with ability to change the way we teach, learn, and interact.

What’s more, Google Apps is easy to use, and we think you’ll find it to be a more efficient way to manage your email and calendar!

In the coming months you’ll receive additional announcements as we prepare for moving our Outlook accounts to Gmail. But don’t worry, you won’t lose important data, and your email address won’t change!

Stay tuned throughout the summer and fall for lots more news on the specifics, including details, training, and more!

Copying Course Content

Another semester is upon us and some of you may be wondering how to copy over your course content from the previous semester. My Just(in) time training video this month focuses on how you can copy your course content from your previously offered courses. This will save you time setting up your courses for the current semester. Rather than downloading and re-uploading your course content from the previous semester, you can copy your whole course, or just select pieces of content that you would like to copy, with ease. To see how you can copy your course content, please see the tutorial (5 min.) below:
